Lee Weiszhaar
Director

I joined the Optimist Club of St Albert in 1989. I have filled all positions within the Club. I was Distinguished President in the 1993/1994 year and Distinguished Lt Governor in the 1995/1996 year. Also a Distinguished Lt Governor again in the 2021/2022 year. For several years I have been the Club’s Foundation Representative.

At the District level, I started out as the District Secretary Treasurer in 1990/1991. I have held several Chair positions. I was Distinguished and Outstanding Governor in 2000/2001.

My favourite program is the Oratorical Contest. It is encouraging to see the development in the youth as they progress through the different levels of the contest. Being able to speak is a skill that is essential and will benefit the person through out their life. I envision the CCOF Board continuing to support scholarships and making a difference in every child’s life that they touch.
