The Canadian Children’s Optimist Foundation supports several programs such as:
- the Outsourcing Program: This Program aims to assist Optimist Clubs with their fundraising efforts in connection with their charitable activities by providing tax receipts to their donors. Clubs execute an Outsourcing Agreement that establishes an agency relationship between the club and the CCOF that manages the donations.
- the Spread Relief Program: Under this program, the CCOF provides grants of up to $3,000 (maximum once a year and once per project) for projects related to childhood health and wellness.
- the CCOF Club Grant Program: Under this program, the CCOF provides grants of up to $1,000 (maximum once a year and once per project) for community projects that promote and encourage the education, health, social, artistic or physical development and growth of Canadian youth or that bring about the relief of poverty and its adverse effects upon Canadian youth in particular and upon Canadian society in general.
- Designated Club Grants and Restricted funds: This program enables clubs to carry out a project that is supported by a single donor that would like a tax receipt.
