JOI CLUB GRANT

The JOI Club Grant is designed to support JOI Clubs with their community projects or fundraisers. This annual award can be used for projects that impact a community and cannot be used for an individual. The grant money can be used to conduct a community service project or as seed money to start a fundraiser. A JOI Club can receive one grant per project and can only apply once per year. The sponsoring Adult Club must apply for the grant.

WHEN CAN I APPLY?
All projects must be submitted by March 31st

JOI DISTRICT BUILDING GRANT

The JOI District Building Grant can be used by an Adult District to build a new JOI District or rebuild an existing JOI District. The applications are accepted twice a year; November 30 and February 28. A District can apply for this grant once. The grant can be used for costs associated with the JOI District including meeting space, food, publicity and materials. The Adult District must outline the ongoing supports to keep the JOI District viable. The maximum amount of the fund is $500.

JOI DISTRICT GRANT

The JOI District Grant can be used by a JOI District to conduct a new community service or fundraising project. The project must benefit youth in the community. The deadline for this grant is November 30 and February 28. A JOI District can apply for one grant per year and can only apply once per project. The grant funding must be used for the project and not for the administration of the JOI District.

JOI INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT GRANT

Each year Junior Optimist International hosts a Summit with JOI Clubs around the world. The costs to attend this summit is the responsibility of the JOI Club or member. This grant will help to support Canadian JOI members attending JOI Summit. This annual grant will help to ensure we have Canadian representation. The application due date is February 28 and the maximum amount awarded will be $500 per club.
